Here Are Some Opportunities To Volunteer In Various Ways At The Church!
Stonebridge is committed to walking alongside missionaries and ministires, both locally and internationally, to spread the hope of the Gospel to Williamson County and to the ends of the earth. See below to see the areas where you can get directly involved.
The hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. (John 4:2)
These words of Jesus instruct us to engage in worship with our whole being. Stonebridge Worship and its team of musicians, singers, and technicians seek to lead congregational worship with both heart and head. With every song based on sound Biblical doctrine and with a deep love and adoration, we help congregates raise their voices in praise of our triune God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
“Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all.” (2 Corinthians 9:13)
Some members – and many Stonebridge worshipers who live around the world – can’t attend our church in person on Sundays. So, we live stream our service each week to include these individuals. The Live Streaming/AV Team includes camera, audio, web, and slide operators, as well as other easy-tech volunteers who help make this communication happen every week.
‘”For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (Romans 10:13-14)
We are in the early stages of developing our mission focus. If you have a specific interest in helping with missions, we would love to hear from you!
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (Romans 12:10-13)
At Stonebridge, we desire to foster a community where people feel loved and appreciated. There is nothing more exciting that the joy we have through Christ, and our Welcome Team is the face of this joy for all newcomers and regular members each Sunday. This team is also responsible for answering questions and helping people find information about what is happening with the church.
Kids & Students Team
‘”You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up.” (Deuteronomy 11:19)
Students and children are the next generation of Christians, worshipers, and leaders. They’re critically important to our faith, which means their spiritual development – especially their understanding of the Bible – is critically important to all of us at Stonebridge.
We believe children and youth are as much a part of the church family as adults, and they stay with their families at the beginning of service for worship and announcements. Then all Stonebridge Kids gather near the stage to hear a children’s message from Ms. Christy. After the children’s sermon, they head back to Sunday school for the remainder of the service while older students remain in worship with their families. Stonebridge Students meets regularly as a group to dig deeper into the Bible and bond with each other.
If you have a passion for helping young people learn what marvelous love Christ has for them and how he is ready to direct their future – and equipping them for that future, we encourage you to become one of our teachers or helpers. You will never regret spending time with the hearts and minds of tomorrow!
